Roman Reigns is the heavy favourite to become the new WWE Champion at Survivor Series. Bookmaker Paddy Power has him 4/9 on to win the Survivor Series tournament and become the new Champion. Betting odds like this are usually correct in giving away what will happen. WWE will make a decision and those in the know in the company will get the smart money in. Either that, or the bookmakers have a contact in WWE. Whatever the case, the bet makers usually get it right. The decision to make Reigns such a heavy favourite suggests a level of certainty, The Big Dog will be the next Champion. The second favourite is Brock Lesnar at 10/3 and John Cena is third favourite at 11/2. They are nowhere near as favoured as Reigns. It does suggest however that WWE have indeed made contact with Lesnar and Cena about a comeback. It seems likely that the top two stars will return. The decision to make Reigns the new Champion is likely keeping course with what WWE were always going to do at Survivor Series. Many observers expected Reigns to defeat Seth Rollins. With Rollins now out of action, it looks like WWE will instead have Reigns go over another heel in a bout for the vacant title.
