Having made a surprise appearance at AEW Revolution earlier this month, Ronda Rousey has called that appearance a "little bit of a f**k you" to TKO.

At Revolution, the former three-time WWE Women's Champion, former UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion, and Olympic bronze medalist had a face-off with Toni Storm following Timeless Toni's win over Marina Shafir. Of course, Rousey and Shafir are long-time close friends.

It was subsequently reported that Ronda appeared at Revolution because the event was local to her, she wanted to support her friend, and it was a way to drum up further hype for her upcoming MMA return against Gina Carano in May. However, it was also reported that there are currently no AEW plans in place for the Rowdy One and that she's not expected back in AEW.

Speaking in her latest YouTube vlog, Ronda Rousey has now given her thoughts on this AEW appearance, detailing her history with Marina Shafir from judo to MMA, to pro wrestling, and adding that the Revolution surprise was a "little bit of a f**k you to the TKO group".

TKO is the parent company of both WWE and UFC, and this also ties into Ronda approaching Dana White about running the Rousey vs. Carano fight under the UFC banner. While there were initial talks about that fight taking place in the UFC, the company ultimately passed on the fight, and it's now taking place on May 16th for Jake Paul's Most Valuable Promotions. This will be Ronda's first fight since a 2016 loss to Amanda Nunes, and will be Gina's first since a 2009 loss to Cris Cyborg.
