Rush has commented on his ongoing AEW absence.
Having not competed on AEW programming for approaching three months, Rush has commented on his ongoing absence.
Responding to a fan on X about whether or not Rush was currently injured, the former two-time ROH World Champion confirmed that he is "healthy and ready" and is doing "everything possible to be at my best and ready for any opportunity".
During my time with AEW I have only been injured ONCE, and one time during Continental Classic I tweaked my knee and medical team advised I recover.

While he was a semi-regular presence on AEW TV earlier this year, it's been a quiet few months for Rush, last competing on the July 1st edition of Dynamite, where he picked up a comprehensive win over Jordan Cruz in barely 90 seconds.
Prior to that, June had seen Rush unsuccessfully challenge MJF for the AEW World Championship, and he also teamed with Dralistico and Sammy Guevara to unsuccessfully challenge Orange Cassidy, Roderick Strong, and Kyle O'Reilly for the AEW Trios Titles that same month.
This latest absence from Rush comes at a time when it's been reported that his brothers' current contracts are set to expire before the end of the year - Dralistico in AEW, Dragon Lee in WWE - as speculation runs rampant on what lies ahead for the hugely talented performers.
