Rather definitively, Seth Rollins has told ESPN: "I'm not very good at being the hero".

The popular WWE star compared himself to both John Cena and Rey Mysterio in that respect. Those legends relished the chance to be babyface on TV, but it doesn't sit well with Seth for very long. Even he gets bored of his work as a face, so he understands why fans itch to see him act out as an on screen villain.

"Short spurts" here and there are fine, but Rollins pointed out that most of his better moments in the company have come as a heel. For example, his Money In The Bank cash in way back at WrestleMania 31, his alliance with Paul Heyman at 'Mania 41, and his MITB cash in on CM Punk at SummerSlam 2025.

Those were painstakingly designed to elicit boos from the audience and boost Seth's career. All of them worked, and he thinks they're more memorable than anything he's done as a baby in the promotion to date.

"I much prefer being a bad guy. I think it suits me better. Most of my favourite moments are being a piece of trash", he added. That's fair, and there's definitely truth to it. However, Rollins is a face right now for the purpose of his feud with ex-Vision cohort Bron Breakker, and that's going down a treat with WWE's fanbase.

Deeper into the interview, Seth got philosophical about how quickly things wash over you when you're younger and eager to make a mark. Now, he's finally able to drink important moments in as they're happening. It's incredible that he doesn't really remember the aforementioned 'Mania 31 cash in vividly.

If Rollins had his pick, he'd go for a heel guise every time.
