The kayfabe brothers have had a lot of matches together and this might be the worst of them all, a quarterfinal round match of the Deadly Games tournament to crown a new WWE Champion. It was around the time when The Undertaker was turning heel, eventually morphing into 'Ministry of Darkness' 'Taker within the next few months. Kane was a face on his own since Paul Bearer was back with Undertaker. This was right after a period where Undertaker and Kane were allies for a while, so the whole thing was pretty confusing. The match was pretty short at around eight minutes, with Bearer distracting Kane and Undertaker hitting the Tombstone to win. There wasn't much flow to it and Undertaker looked hurt or maybe disinterested.
