The Undertaker's 17 WWE Survivor Series Matches - From Worst To Best

15. Buried Alive: Vince McMahon Vs. The Undertaker (2003)

This match came at a time when Vince was at his craziest in terms of being drunk with power and saying ridiculous things. It was after he beat his daughter Stephanie in a bizarre I Quit match. Basically, they were pushing the idea that he thought he was some kind of God and so it made sense that The Undertaker would step up to face him and take him down a peg or two. When they made it a Buried Alive match, people assumed it would just be a match where Undertaker would win easily and Vince's character would be written off. It was basically a fight with The Undertaker beating up Vince all over the ring. Then, when it looked like it was going to be over, Kane showed up, helped Vince win and buried The Undertaker in the dirt. It's not a great match, but it's significant because it was the last time The Undertaker wrestled as the "American Badass" character. He returned as "The Deadman" for WrestleMania XX about five months later (to beat Kane once again).
