With recent talk that both Bron Breakker and Tiffany Stratton could soon be heading to the main roster, one other NXT name who is currently impressing is Trick Williams.

As per Haus of Wrestling, the SmackDown creative team was "blown away" by the reaction Williams got on last week's outing for WWE's blue brand. As such, the belief amongst some "influential people" within the organisation is that Trick has "future WrestleMania main event potential".

In addition to this, one top WWE star the outlet spoke to about Trick Williams had nothing but good things to say about the 29-year-old. This talent praised Williams for the "great attitude and skillset that he's cultivating" and they see "nothing but positives for him" in his future.

That aforementioned SmackDown appearance saw Trick Willy make the save as Austin Theory and Grayson Waller attacked Carmelo Hayes in the immediate aftermath of Theory pulling the tights to get the 1-2-3 over Melo. As Williams came to Hayes' rescue, Miami's Kaseya Center was filled with loud "Whoop That Trick!" chants.

Up next for Trick Williams, he pulls double-duty at NXT Vengeance Day this Sunday, where he and Carmelo face Baron Corbin and Bron Breakker in the final of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, and Trick will then challenge Ilja Dragunov for the NXT Title later that night.
