Tommy Dreamer Faces Allegations From Multiple Wrestlers Following TNA Departure (TNA News)
Several wrestlers make allegations against Tommy Dreamer.
Having departed TNA by mutual consent last week, several wrestling talents have taken to social media with claims against Tommy Dreamer.
Independent referee Perch detailed an incident where Dreamer allegedly told him he'd do all he could to make sure that Perch didn't get a job in pro wrestling.
Tommy Dreamer pulled me aside backstage at a TNA show, telling me he would do everything he could to make sure I don’t earn a job in the wrestling business. All I did was try to learn and grow from experiences, though his words were very discouraging for a young student to hear pic.twitter.com/mcTpRGlwKT— Perch (@PerchXLV) June 20, 2026
Take critique like a professional and thank them for their time. However don’t allow someone to ‘coercive’ you. Share your burning desire to succeed in the pro wrestling business with others who appreciate you! This is a community, not a tyranny?✨?— Perch (@PerchXLV) June 20, 2026
Current AEW/ROH wrestler and former TNA talent Carlie Bravo also shared details of an interaction he had with Tommy. In a since-deleted X post, Bravo claimed that Dreamer told him he was "very talented" but that he couldn't be hired as the veteran "didn't know if he could market 'cocky black guy' to the world."
Independent wrestler Kennedi Copeland and former independent wrestler Dani Jordyn have likewise commented on their own experiences working with Tommy Dreamer.
Hol’ up are we sharing our Tommy Dreamer stories bc one time I told him I really wanted to take a cane shot in a match and he told me he doesn’t do that with women so instead we did a spanking spot bc women amirite— Kennedi (@ThatKennDawg) June 21, 2026
Omg I can’t believe I just found the photo of it too https://t.co/yFqPZxHsV9 pic.twitter.com/vAyKlX3cEE— Kennedi (@ThatKennDawg) June 21, 2026
I was new in my career, should’ve trusted my intuition, said a firm no, and not succumb to peer pressure for this spot. This is the only thing that’s happened in my career that felt degrading bc I vowed to never let a MF try me on some uncomfortable shit EVER again ??— Dani Jordyn (@DaniJordyn) June 21, 2026
While Tommy Dreamer himself has yet to comment on these allegations, multi-time Women's Champion Mickie James has defended Dreamer where it pertains to Perch's claims.
Perch, listen, I don’t know you. But I do know @THETOMMYDREAMER well enough to know that “if” he truly said this. There is far more to this story that you are conveniently leaving out. If you are going into come on here & attempt to bury someone. Especially someone who is as… https://t.co/dZGVvji99W— Mickie James~Aldis (@MickieJames) June 20, 2026
As mentioned, Tommy Dreamer departed TNA last week, with both parties saying this was a mutual decision, and TNA releasing a statement noting that the company was undergoing "workforce reductions". In addition to being an on-air presence, Dreamer had also been working as TNA's Head of Creative and Talent Relations.
Similarly, last week saw Sami Callihan - who'd been working in a backstage capacity since retiring from in-ring action last year - released by TNA, and Tessa Blanchard had likewise requested, and was granted, her release after TNA reportedly asked her to choose between her TNA and CMLL commitments, with Tessa opting to focus on CMLL. Earlier this month brought word that Steve Maclin and Myla Grace had also been granted their release, which came on the back of Dani Luna doing the same in April.
