In some unfortunate news, AEW favourite Willow Nightingale is going into this weekend's All In with an injury.

Coming out of last night's Dynamite taping, the Wrestling Obsever's Bryan Alvarez reported that Willow is dealing with a hand injury ahead of All In. For those thinking this may be part of a storyline, Alvarez confirms that, no, this is a very real injury, despite some fans presuming this was simply part of the ongoing rivalry between Nightingale and Mercedes Moné.

However, this report also states that, thankfully, Willow Nightingale is still expected to be able to wrestle at All In, where she'll defend her AEW Women's Championship against Mercedes.

For Willow, All In will mark her second defence of the AEW Women's Title, following hot on the heels of a successful first defence against current TBS Champion Maya World at last weekend's Collision. Of course, Nightingale defeated Thekla for that prize at AEW Redemption last month.

Having become heated rivals in the past few years, All In will mark a third AEW match between Willow Nightingale and Mercedes Moné, and a fourth match between the two, period. In AEW, the pair are currently tied one apiece - Mercedes defeating Willow for the TBS Title at Double or Nothing 2024, Willow then regaining that title from the CEO on the New Year's Smash episode of Dynamite at the end of last year - whilst Nightingale also defeated Mone for the NJPW Women's Championship at NJPW STRONG Resurgence 2023 prior to Mercedes becoming #AllElite.
