The independent wrestling standout is believed to have been assigned to ROH, which was purchased by AEW chief Tony Khan in March, though there's currently no word on whether or not he has landed a full-time or tiered agreement. Nonetheless, this news follows last week's report that former ROH Pure Champion Josh Woods was under a similar deal.

Christian, 25, has already worked several bouts in the Khan-Verse. His ROH affiliation began at 1 April's Supercard Of Honor, where he was defeated by Colt Cabana, and continued in a six-man tag loss to The Embassy at Death Before Dishonor (23 July). On top of this, he has worked AEW Dark tapings in March, June, and July of this year.

WWE fans may know Christian better as Trey Baxter, which was his monicker while working with the market leaders from October 2020 until his November 2021 release. Prior to signing there, Blake had already emerged as one of the indie scene's rising high-flyers.

Amongst the promotions on Christian's post-WWE resume are NJPW, GCW, and Warrior Wrestling.
