WWE super fan and actor O’Shea Jackson Jr says he has told both Triple H and Stephanie McMahon all about the glaring issues with the current ad strategy on company programming, and he claims Hunter (in particular) was very receptive to his comments.

O'Shea appeared on The Ariel Helwani Show to reveal this news. He spoke about being on Stephanie's podcast at the turn of the year, and recalled bumping into Trips shortly afterwards. To his credit, Jackson Jr (the son of rap legend Ice Cube) spoke for many fans when talking to 'The Game'.

He told the WWE creative chief that TKO's timing for ads is "horrendous". That conversation took place months before WrestleMania 42, but the tentpole weekender came under fire from a lot of supporters and industry critics alike for peppering far too many commercials throughout the PLE.

That was especially noticeable during Saturday's opening night.

O'Shea offered: "Dude, the ads are crazy. Like, it’s almost unwatchable" when talking to both Hunter and Steph. Instead of defending the layout, the power couple seemed to agree with what Jackson Jr was saying, but remarked that it's all about working out the best places to put those ads.

Many wrestling fans tuning in would like to see less of them. People understand that WWE is a business, and businesses want to make money, but that shouldn't come at the expense of viewer enjoyment or the product overall. Generally, TKO failed to strike the right balance at 'Mania.

When discussing how WWE/TKO could space ads out and how they impact certain wrestlers or segments, O'Shea said: "It’s a level of respect for them. It’s fine in the middle of a match, but at least picture-in-picture me".
