Trish Stratus Slaps Becky Lynch At Last Night's WWE Live Event
Could we soon be seeing Trish Stratus vs. Becky Lynch?
While the talk of the entertainment world today is Chris Rock receiving a stiff slap from Will Smith at this year's Academy Awards ceremony, that wasn't the only significant slap to take place last night.
During Sunday's WWE live event from Toronto's Coca-Cola Coliseum, special guest host Trish Stratus delivered her own slap to the face of Raw Women's Champion Becky Lynch.

This is just the latest in a series of issues between Stratus and Lynch, with some speculating that this could all eventually lead to a match between the pair at some point down the line.
With Trish long announced as hosting Saturday's Kitchener, Ontario and Sunday's Toronto, Ontario house shows, Big Time Becks stirred the pot in the lead up to these live events by threatening to take out Stratus. This was then followed on Saturday by Lynch claiming she was held up by Immigration at the airport for two hours, at midnight, with her young daughter in tow, all because of Trish.
Last night's event saw Becky retain her Raw Women's Title against Rhea Ripley, and it was after this bout that Stratus got physical with the Man. The prior night, it was Lynch unsuccessfully taking a swing at the WWE Hall of Famer, and so Sunday saw Trish get one over on the Irish Lass Kicker.
To add further to all of this, Lynch has previously stated how Lita was always her favourite WWE superstar, and so if she was prepared to give Lita a beating at this year's Elimination Chamber premium live event, what would she be prepared to do to Trish? Likewise, Stratus has cited her unhappiness at the disrespect Becky showed her best friend earlier this year.
Whether we get Trish Stratus vs. Becky Lynch in the future remains to be seen, but there are certainly plenty of seeds that have already been sown should this match become a reality.
For those wondering, Stratus' last match was back at SummerSlam 2019, where she lost to Charlotte Flair in an impressive 16-minute encounter.
