Humberto Carrillo is "OK" after his match with Sheamus on last night's WWE Raw ended via abrupt referee stoppage following a nasty spot outside the ring.

This is according to PWInsider's Mike Johnson, who has confirmed Carrillo's status with multiple sources.

Dave Meltzer came through with a similar report on Wrestling Observer Radio, saying that Carrillo is "fine," and would be "capable of wrestling tomorrow" if he wanted to.

Carrillo was wrestling Sheamus as part of the latter's ongoing United States Championship open challenge series. Answering the call and partaking in a spirited fight with the Irishman, Humberto ran into trouble when attempting a sunset flip powerbomb from the apron to the floor. Sheamus' full 205lbs came crashing down on Carrillo's knee, prompting him to signal for help, with the referee calling the finish on the fly.

Per Fightful Select, this wasn't how the bout was supposed to go down.

The nature of the botch and the fact that WWE called an audible to end the match bred concerns for Carrillo's health. It's therefore relieving to hear that he doesn't seem to have suffered any significant damage, despite the abrupt conclusion.

Carrillo and Sheamus have been feuding for several weeks now, though this was their first match of any kind in WWE. There was no sign of Mansoor last night, despite the Saudi Arabian mixing it up with the duo last week.
