VICE's Dark Side Of The Ring Not Cancelled After All?
VICE TV reaffirm commitment to Dark Side of the Ring and its creators in new statement.
Rumours of Dark Side of the Ring's cancellation appear to have been greatly exaggerated.
Whispers of VICE TV canning the controversial, expositionary wrestling docuseries started doing the rounds last week, when it was noted that DSOTR had been omitted from the network's programming reveals for 2022 and 2023. Now, VICE has moved to kill these rumours, with the platform reaffirming its commitment to the project and its creators:-
We've heard some rumors flying around about Season 4 of Dark Side of the Ring. We are as committed as ever to both the series and the broader Dark Side franchise. Evan and Jason are hard at work making more content that we know our fans of the series will love. Stay tuned.

VICE is yet to formally announce Dark Side of the Ring's fourth season. 30 episodes of the show have aired since its April 2019 inception, with DSOTR diving into such difficult topics as the death of Owen Hart, the Chris Benoit murder/suicide, Nancy Argentino's passing (and Jimmy Snuka's alleged role in it), and more throughout its run.
Dark Side became a major headline-maker in September 2021, when its Plane Ride from Hell episode resorted in renewed discourse on its participants' role in the acrimonious journey. Specifically, flight attendant Heidi Doyle speaking on her sexual assault accusations against Ric Flair on national television for the first time made headlines, framing Flair's repulsive alleged actions in the correct, damning light.
DSOTR producers Evan Husney and Jason Eisener are currently working with Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson's Seven Bucks Productions on a new VICE TV Series focusing on professional wrestling's territorial era.
