Im going to take a STIFF stance on this one---there was NO WOMENS wrestling in the WWE three years before and after Alundra Blaze made her mark. And, to take that one step further, she alone was the bridge that carries womens wrestling from the Stone Age, to the Divas you see today. NO-there wouldnt be an AJ lee, Paige, Gail Kim, or the Beautiful People if it wasnt for Debra Miceli. Womens wrestling would not exist in the form its currently in---if even at all! She paved the way, and took years of both abuse and hardship in just trying to survive another day in the Boys Club. Without her pioneering the movement, women in the wrestling business would just be the garnish for whoevers arm she was clinging to at the time. Why isnt Madusa in the WWE HOF? Because she dropped a prop belt in the trash can on Nirto almost 20 years ago. We all need to get over it and give the woman her due!
