Watching WWE TV Live In The UK: Can Anything Good Happen After 2am?
So what benefits does watching Pro Wrestling outside of the U.S have? One bonus for a few countries is that they get see Smackdown earlier than the States due to the time difference of when 'Friday Night' occurs. It also makes seeing WWE Live in fan's respective countries that much more special, as they are able to see their favourite Superstars at a sensible hour. There was a rumour recently generated by a WWE Magazine comment that got a lot of UK fans talking about the possibility of Wrestlemania 30 being based in London. Of course the issue here would be that showing the product live back in the States would mean it airing in the afternoon. The question "Why not?" comes to mind. If the Superbowl, the USA's biggest sporting event can be broadcast on a Sunday afternoon then why can't Wrestlemania? When seeing the reactions to the rumour, many in their speculation began to suggest a tape delay airing in the U.S similar to Summerslam 1992. However, it is now 20 years on from that and would be safe to assume WWE wouldn't want their biggest annual show to not air live. You would certainly expect the idea of the revenue a sellout event at Wembley Stadium would generate appeals to WWE in many ways. It would be a great reward for UK and European fans for their loyalty over the years, not just those who stay up until the early hours but also those who pay big money to see the House Shows when they come to their towns twice a year. Watching WWE and Professional Wrestling on TV in the UK has its pros and cons. With all this in mind, is there a best way to enjoy Professional Wrestling programming overseas? If you are not part of a Social Network, perhaps watching reruns at a sensible hour is the best way to go. However, if like many you do have a Facebook and/or Twitter account that you check on a daily basis, staying spoiler free in the modern age is a next to impossible task. If you love the experience of seeing what happens in a WWE ring live and as it happens, whether it be for better or for worse, it's probably time to make sure the coffee pot is full.
