Having been with WCW for just short of a year by the time of the final Nitro, Awesome had gone from Career Killer to Fat Chick Thrilla to That '70s Guy and was a part of Team Canada when WCW closed its doors.
On February 17, 2007, the dead body of Mike Awesome was found by his friends. He had sadly taken his own life at 42 years of age.
