It's Daniel Bryan!

SmackDown's resident superworker-meets-doting father beat Jey Uso in another pulsating match on Friday's Christmas special before revealing that he would be involved in the 2021 Royal Rumble early next year. That, according to Dan, is a match the former World Champion has always wanted to win.

Bryan is the first man to declare himself for Rumble duty - fans should expect others (possibly even a soon-to-return Seth Rollins?) to follow suit over the next few weeks and enter the fray too. It's also not a stretch to imagine that Uso will also roar back against Daniel's announcement and tell the world that he plans to win the Rumble himself.

Why not, eh?

The 2021 Rumble will take place on 31 January at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida. WWE's ThunderDome will naturally provide the backdrop for the pay-per-view, but it would be nice to see the company try something different with the stage set.

Royal Rumble is one of the bigger shows of the year, and the kick off point for that all-important 'Road To WrestleMania', after all. It deserves to have a unique look.
