Fightful Select reports that the story, which has mostly played out on Dark, is being handled by Hardy and co. Ethan Page and Hardy, in particular, were understood to be excited about having the chance to work together as part of it.

The storyline briefly made it to Dynamite this week, having kicked off on Dark in October. It is reportedly part of an effort on AEW's behalf to have more storylines carried over onto the company's original YouTube series, which has largely comprised of squash matches since its inception, though there have been exceptions. Feuds such as Joey Janela vs. Sonny Kiss and Brandon Cutler vs. Peter Avalon have featured almost exclusively on Dark in the past.

Punk's seemingly imminent departure from the promotion put a spanner in those works, momentarily leaving The Firm in creative limbo, though they have found something in the Hardy storyline.
