Well, that certainly was a fun ride, wasn't it?
After much speculation as to whether this year's Showcase of the Immortals would find a way to deliver a good event, it's hard to complain too loudly.
There were some well-done surprise appearances, some great high spots and one oh-my-freaking-god moment for the ages. All eight matches on the main card found a way to entertain at one point or another, some were able to overcome the head-scratching way they were booked, and some were tasked with surviving the perils of their own utter predictability.
Of course, predictability is a four-letter word in the wrestling world, particularly when it comes to a company's largest show of the year. This particular 'Mania faced the challenge of a main event whose outcome was painfully telegraphed, along with a couple of matches that seemed too lopsided for their own good.
Speaking strictly in terms of outcomes versus expectations, which decisions most smacked of raw predictability? Which ranked low on the list by actually raising eyebrows? And among the latter, would any of them survive the old RAW reset button?
