2. Brock Lesnar Defeats Dean Ambrose
Another match involving a big-money name, another match with obvious results.
With WWE's constant protection of their most expensive commodity, it was pretty hard to imagine they would have Lesnar stare at the lights in a match this frankly inconsequential.
Nothing against Ambrose, obviously, but just about everyone knew what this was: an odds-and-ends bout, something for Lesnar to do at Mania, with a stipulation that elevated it to at least it won't be a squash.
All told, even with the option of having it happen thanks to inhuman amounts of punishment with foreign objects, it would have made no sense for The Beast to lose anything other than a main event, to a select few names which sadly don't include The Lunatic Fringe.
Such is life with a character like Lesnar.
