Wrestlers Pay Tribute To Jeff Hardy Following WWE Release
The wrestling world reacts to Jeff Hardy's WWE departure.
The wider wrestling world is reacting to news of Jeff Hardy's WWE departure, as the company veteran was suddenly let go by the promotion on Thursday.
Per Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp, Hardy had been offered "help and rehab" by the promotion prior to being let go, though he declined. Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Pro Wrestling podcast has since stated that "the last couple of weeks have been rough" for Jeff, whom WWE had sent home from the road last weekend.
Universally adored by seemingly everyone in wrestling, Hardy's release has unsurprisingly inspired a huge volume of tributes.
WWE Champion Big E tweeted the following:-
Jeff Hardy is so beloved by his fans and his peers. I’ve never heard a negative word about him & he’s always treated me with such kindness. Just wishing him and his family the very best.

Mustafa Ali praised Jeff for being easy to work with and giving when they wrestled each other:-
I got to compete against Jeff Hardy on Main Event. I made the assumption that Jeff was going to take it “easy.” Jeff says “Nah man, I’ve been waiting for this match. Let’s tear this sh*t up.” He was incredibly giving. I sincerely hope for the best for Jeff and his family. pic.twitter.com/m7Qp1XOo6t
