Wrestling's 10 Biggest Opportunities Of 2014

7. TNA Becoming Relevant

My one Christmas wish this year was for TNA to become relevant. Sadly, like always, I never get what I wish for. TNA becoming relevant would be a dream come true for us all. I wish TNA would get their act together, then maybe someone other than me would start watching it. Not to mention it would force the WWE's hand and push them to put out a better product. If that happened, we'd all win. I don't even know where to begin when talking about all the mistakes TNA's made but by far their biggest one is letting Dixie Carter have any sort of control. She knows nothing about the wrestling business, and her recent heel turn (if you want to call it that) was particularly laughable. She doesn't need to be on TV, she doesn't need to be booking matches, and she doesn't need to keep over-paying for has-beens. I could go on at length as to all the reasons why but trust me when I say that right now, TNA is in the wrong hands. The company's biggest opportunity has always been the chance to hire the undervalued Jim Ross. Good ol' JR could and would completely turn around TNA wrestling.
