Similar to Lance Storm, William Regal is a fantastic technical wrestler who remains criminally underappreciated by many fans. And similar to Dolph Ziggler, his greatest strength is making other people look good, as in his career he has put over the likes of Goldberg, Dean Ambrose and most recently Cesaro in December of last year, helping them to become established stars by taking him down. Regal began his career in a carnival booth on Blackpool Pleasure Beach, wrestling all over England before getting his break in America. He flitted back and forth between WWF and WCW throughout the '90s, competing in great matches against Dean Malenko, Al Snow and Billy Kidman. After the WCW buyout, he would appear solely on WWE screens, again mostly making younger talent look good. He never achieved greater success than winning the King Of The Ring in 2008, and now mostly works as a commentator for NXT. He's also had a hand in training the next generation, including CM Punk, Daniel Bryan and Samoa Joe. If Regal's legacy is to be the wrestlers he leaves behind, that will be enough.
