Now that WrestleMania 30 is in the rear view window, there are plenty of questions about how future stars in WWE are going to be booked. Talents like The Shield, Cesaro, Wyatt and of course Daniel Bryan are stepping up in ways that are making them major players. Along with those younger, newer stars there are several outstanding veteran talents that still have a major role in the company. Men like Randy Orton, Batista and Kane are in positions where they have so much value as veterans with over a decade of experience that can work with those younger guys to make them bigger stars. Then there's John Cena. In the past couple of months, Cena has made it a point to call himself the "measuring stick" in WWE. If people want to become bigger stars, they have to get through him. We see that kind of thing in sports all the time. For one team or one player to ascend to that next level, they have to go through some team or somebody that has been there before. Following his win over Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania, which was something a lot of people didn't like, Cena's in the position of veteran babyface that will be tested by heels on the rise for the remainder of his career. If you think he's going heel you're probably wrong. It's unlikely that WWE is ever going to turn the true face of the company heel even though it could be the biggest money drawing angle they've had in a long time. It just doesn't seem possible at this point. Between now and SummerSlam, there are several ways WWE can book Cena in order to keep him relevant.
