Raw got a new opening video this week, and it was a bit Roman Reigns heavy. The man took the honor of being the final, lingering shot. This would be fine if he was actually the top star in the company, or the second top star, or not someone already being forced on us. WWE is trying with Reigns, and they are trying way too hard. Take his promos for instance. According to Dave Meltzer, Vince McMahon is heavily involved in writing his promos, and it shows. On SmackDown, Reigns looked Seth Rollins right in the face and called him a Sniveling little suck up, sell-out fool of suffering succotash son. Suffering succotash? Hes ripping off Looney Toons? That actually makes sense, since it's probably the last cartoon Vince actually watched. To make it worse, Reigns looked to the camera and winked after he said it, as if he said something clever (or perhaps it was directed to his boss who got all warm and fuzzy inside). Well, Reigns also told Seth Rollins that he has donkey dung for brains. Hopefully the boss enjoyed that line too, because no other adult male did. Let's just hope he doesn't bust out "What's up Doc?" next week.
