WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (March 15)

3. Stop Standing Up!

Drew Galloway was woefully underutilized in WWE, but his run in TNA so far has been a bit of a mess. Right now he's going for a voice of the people type character. This doesn€™t really work in professional wrestling, though, because it mixes real life behind the scenes politics with on-air storylines. The problem is that not enough people care about what goes on backstage for the story to make sense for a wide audience. This past week on a pretty solid episode of Impact overall, Galloway went into the crowd and told us that "once upon a time" (channeling Reigns' fairy tales for some reason?) that it mattered what fans thought, and that they decided who got to be on their TV. Well guess what Drew, they shouldn't! From a storyline standpoint, who the fans want on their TVs shouldn't matter, it should be about wins and losses. That's it. Ever since The Attitude Era, wrestling companies keep moving further away from a sports like feel to a real life backstage soap opera. If his character wanted to have succeeded in the past, then he shouldn't have spent so much time in a three man band!
