7. Enzos Injury
Yikes. That was scary. You just never know whats going to happen in wrestling. This week gave us a reminder of how a career can end instantly. Watching Enzo Amore suddenly go down in the first match at Payback was a tough way to start the night.
Since this is the crazy world of wrestling, your mind cant help but picture a worst case scenario immediately. It was hard to get invested in the next few matches, until we were given word that he was able to move his limbs.
Kudos to Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens for putting on a great bout just minutes after Enzo collapsed. They were put in an unfortunate position, but kept their cool and somehow got the crowd back into things. Thankfully, Enzo seems to be okay, but its hard to think of a pay-per-view that has started out with a worse real life scare than Payback.
