WWE gets in its own way when it comes to creating something popular. Fandangoing was a hit with the crowd until the company co-opted it. Brodus Clay was over upon his debut, until WWE gave us the act multiple times a week for months. Now, Damien Mizdow has caught on with a segment of the crowds like crazy. Creative can take no credit for this, as before his alliance with Miz, Sandow was relegated to dressing up as random people. It was a horrible gimmick to be stuck with, but he eventually made it gold. This past week, WWE added another element to the act. An unwelcome one. It was like baking a tasty cake, and then at the last moment deciding to add a half-a-cup of dog vomit to it. Hornswoggle is the comedy guy in WWE, but no one, absolutely no one, finds him funny. Even kids dont pop for him when his entrance music plays. Unfortunately, the stink of Hornswoggle will now rub off on Miz and Mizdow. What did they do to deserve that? The worst part is, Vince McMahon probably thinks hes doing them a favor and improving the act. Lets hope Swoggles appearance with the team was just a one time deal. But it may already too late, a shark may have already been jumped, a Shockmaster may have already shocked, and a gimmick that had no chance of ever getting over may now be dead. Thanks a lot you Little Bastard (their words, not mine)! Time to kick out. What was your worst wrestling moment of the week? Sound off below and thanks for reading!
