When was the last time you saw a return as lackluster as the one Erick Rowan received on Raw? He had to have had one of the most anti-climatic returns in WWE history. The announcers would have made a bigger deal if Planet Stasiak showed up out of the crowd. We hadnt seen Big Red on Raw since early June when he went down with injury. This week he came back, appeared out of the side of the screen, and was immediately hit in the gut with a chair...and, well, that was it. The announcers were just like Hey, theres Erick Rowan! Oh he got beat up! That Romans Reigns sure is something, isnt he? Dont forget to order Hell in a Cell! Later that night Rowan came back for the obligatory six-man tag match, and got beat up again at the end of the show. Poor guy. Hey, no big deal, just a character that was on TV every week, who suddenly disappears for months without explanation, and then reappears without explanation. Can you call it bad writing if they dont even try writing?
