If this was Stings last match in wrestling, what a way to go out. It was a lovely call back to most of his time in WCW, because the booking absolutely sucked! For starters, why would Seth Rollins have to fight back-to-back matches? Because The Authority sometimes hates him? When did Vince McMahon book The Corporate Champion The Rock to fight Steve Austin and Undertaker one right after the other? At WrestleMania, WWE had HHH defeat Sting, because it was the dumbest decision they could think of at the time. At Night of Champions, they one-upped that handily. Rollins lost to Cena, which meant he should have been exhausted and weak. The match against Sting should have lasted 30 seconds. It didn't. This didnt make Rollins look tough since he had just lost to Cena, it just made Sting look pathetic that he couldnt put away someone who had been pinned cleanly, and THEN who took another Attitude Adjustment on the outside of the ring. Was this how Sting really would have wanted to win the World Title anyway? If he had any honor, either he or Cena should have refused their match so at least it would have been fair. It was a no-win situation that WWE booked themselves in. If this was Stings last match, then what a downer of a way to go out. They couldnt even make a showdown with him and Taker feel special since theyve pushed him so horribly. Thanks for the memories Sting. Heal up, and if WWE ever wants you back for another match, run far, far away.
