Lars Sullivan is the talk of wrestling media at the moment, and with yesterday's report that WWE were aware of the big man's online transgressions when they signed him (hence the lack of punishment), it looks like the furore isn't going to dent 'The Freak's' ongoing monster push.

WrestleVotes have a new update on the situation, and it looks like WWE are making like Simon Pegg and heading down the Winchester, having a pint, and waiting for this all to blow over:-

The source's dubious track record means a pinch of salt should definitely be taken here, but it adds up.

WWE are never quick to react to controversies like this. They absorbed wave upon wave of online pressure before renaming WrestleMania 34's pitched Fabulous Moolah Memorial Battle Royal and only pulled the trigger when sponsors started getting involved. Lars' fate will probably be determined in a similar manner, so it likely depends on whether or not WWE's financiers catch wind of what's going on, and if the story escapes the internet bubble.

Blocking the Reddit user who compiled his list of online controversies has been Lars' only response to the situation up to this point. It'll be interesting to see if he posts a rebuttal.
