WWE artist Rob Schamberger has called Velveteen Dream "the single most unprofessional person I've encountered in this business" following the 25-year-old's release from the company on Thursday.

Here's what Schamberger tweeted:-

Without saying anything further: He was the single most unprofessional person I’ve encountered in this business. I hope this is the wake up call he needs to start doing the emotional work to become a better person. All told.

Though Dream isn't mentioned by name, the tweet emerged within two hours of Velveteen being cut from the company.

Though he was reportedly backstage at this week's episode of Raw, Dream hadn't wrestled for WWE since December 2020, when he lost to Adam Cole on NXT. The former North American Champion hadn't been present at a lot of recent NXT television tapings but was attending open ring sessions prior to his departure, breeding backstage concerns that he was being set up for a coaching role.

Once considered one of wrestling's most promising prospects, Dream was hit with multiple allegations of sexual harassment involving minors in April and June 2020, which he denied. Triple H has claimed WWE "found nothing" during their internal investigation into the matter.
