WWE Clash In Italy 2026: 8 Nightmares That Could Come True
7. Fans Dump On Alpha Female Sequel
Rhea Ripley vs. Jade Cargill was surprisingly solid at ‘Mania last month, but their feud was balls overall. Running a rematch here at Clash was unexpected after some of the car crash segments on TV, but Triple H has decided to put his faith in a repeat between both alpha females. However, what if the sequel doesn’t work out?
Like, things could get rough.
Turin will be delighted to see Ripley, which should help, but then the bell has to ring. Arguably, Rhea hasn't been smashing it between the ropes bell to bell like she was beforehand. Whatever the reason for that, it's something she needs to shake in a hurry if this Women's Title reign has any hope of bettering those erm...enjoyed by Tiffany Stratton and Jade.
Realistically, Ripley vs. Cargill would've been better place on last weekend's Saturday Night's Main Event. That was akin to AEW's Battle Of The Belts specials more than something of any real importance, and that's kinda what this second match between Rhea and Jade feels like too - it's sticking out as the weakest showdown on the lineup going into Clash.
WWE will be praying that Ripley's star power and an inspired performance from Cargill sees them through on Sunday. There's next to no chance of a title change, because 'Mami' will be leading this division for a while yet, but these women can still put on a display to be proud of. They can, but it remains to be seen.
Also, can we move on from this Michin and B-FAB hangers on gimmick already?
