WWE Clash Of Champions 2016: 10 Things You May Have Missed

4. The Seriously Sinister Hell In A Cell Ad

The company have relaxed their own strict rules remarkably over the past few years, but WWE are still a company bound to the 'PG' format. Whether adults like it or not, much of the product is aimed at young children, a fact that only makes the sneaky advert for Hell In a Cell all the more startling.

Right before the main event at Clash Of Champions, a short video clip aired of a Ouija board spelling out the word 'help'. As soon as that happened, a message flashed up on screen telling viewers, 'There's no help in hell'. This was supposed to promote the upcoming Hell In A Cell pay-per-view on October 30, but it was quite a sinister way of doing so.

Some watching may not have even noticed the ad, especially if they were out of the room preparing snacks for the WWE Universal Title match that was upcoming. Longtime fans were exposed to this kind of thing all the time during the 'Attitude Era', but it's not so common nowadays in WWE.
