It's tempting to leave this entry at the sub-heading, it really is.

If Shawn Michaels was coming out of retirement to wrestle Daniel Bryan, Samoa Joe or AJ Styles, things would be rather different. Ol' HBK could afford to put both those men over in some sort of symbolic torch-passing moment, but he can't lose against the opponents WWE have for him at Crown Jewel. He just can't.

Ignore the idea that the meat of the match will probably drag for a second and think about what a loss would mean afterwards. Michaels, humbled after eight long years out, chases down The Undertaker and challenges him to yet another 'Mania epic. Sounds...predictable, and a bit dull.

It'd be more newsworthy if Shawn stuns his old nemesis with a surprise Superkick, pins him clean in the middle of the ring and then, having that old spring in his step, announces he has everything to prove against the full-time roster. Men like...
