Having seen the Mordecai gimmick be completely dropped before it could ever get going, Kevin Thorn was reinvented as a vampire and showcased as a major part of the ECW relaunch.

After leaving WWE in 2010, Thorn continued to work on the independent scene under his real name of Kevin Fertig. Still technically an active wrestler, Fertig moved into the real estate business earlier this year.
