WWE Elimination Chamber 2026: 7 Things That NEED To Happen
4. The Crate Reveal Is Bigger Than Danhausen
One of the rumours doing the circuit before Elimination Chamber is that it's none other than Danhausen inside that crate being shipped between Raw and SmackDown. Sorry to anybody who adores the comedic horror gimmick, but he'd be a huge letdown. Stranger things have happened, yes, but it’s tough to see Danhausen becoming more than a flavour of the month type surprise who’s only over for a short spell in WWE.
The company are kinda’ backing themselves into a corner with this sort of thing anyway, and it reeks of The Gobbledy Gooker disaster at Survivor Series 1990. Being fair, The Undertaker debuted that same night, so maybe we'll get Danhausen then a blockbuster moment later in the PLE. If wishes were fishes, eh?
Monday's Raw saw a beleaguered Adam Pearce trying to stop Rusev from arguing with Oba Femi in front of the big box. Theoretically, Danhausen was inside putting a curse on everything that moves. If it isn't him, then who could it be? Some out there still think it's Chris Jericho, but his AEW future is still very much up in the air and a WWE comeback before WrestleMania doesn't look likely even if he's on the way out of Tony Khan-ville.
One thing's for sure: WWE will have to come up with a reveal bigger than Mr. Hausen if they want to avoid fan backlash on social media. They might get away with it for a few weeks, but it's hard to see a character like his thriving for too long.
