WWE Elimination Chamber 2026: 7 Things That NEED To Happen
3. AJ Lee Takes Becky’s Title
Sound the title change klaxon.
It's a slight surprise that WWE didn't sit on this match until 'Mania, but they'll probably book a rematch between Becky Lynch and AJ Lee no matter what happens in Chicago at Chamber. The location surely played a part in expediting their clash, because AJ knows she'll get a booming response in the city due to her CM Punk ties.
WWE can always tack a stipulation onto the next round. At EC, Lee has to win the Women's Intercontinental Title. After all, where does the creative go if she doesn't? Becky has been booked to look terrified of all things AJ, 'cause Lee is one of the biggest threats she faces and is right under her skin, so that must be reflected on this show.
Putting the belt on Lee sounds reasonable, if for no other reason than Triple H can then guarantee another match from her. AJ hasn't exactly been working a full time schedule since returning to the fold last year, so the more dates she's locked into the better. This is WrestleMania season, and there's a ton of money to be made on both sides of the coin (for company and Lee herself!).
Becky eating some humble pie then forcing her way into a repeat in Vegas would be solid. That way, everyone can get swotting on bells and whistles needed for a 'No DQ'/'Street Fight' or even Steel Cage/Hell In A Cell war. Either way, and whichever stip they pick, WWE surely know giving AJ the title here makes sense.
