WWE Fastlane 2016: 10 Awesome Moments

6. Dolph Ziggler And Kevin Owens Trade Superkicks

In particular, one Superkick delivered by Kevin Owens to Dolph Ziggler looked brutal. It seems like a fairly cliched thing to say, but it really did look like a tooth came flying out of the babyface's mouth and into the crowd. More logically, it's likely it was merely saliva, but the visual helped the move look impactful and meaty. Shortly thereafter, Ziggler handed his rival a receipt of sorts with a vicious kick of his own. It's common for wrestlers to slap their thighs when delivering the move, and it can therefore come across as a little too forced. Neither Ziggler nor Owens had that problem at Fastlane, their timing was impeccable. The sequence of kicks and emphasis on their impact only aided the Intercontinental Title match. There was a general feeling that it could have been a lame duck encounter on the show, but a combination of their hard work pulled them through. Those Superkicks were wonderful, there was a real snap to them.
