Arguably no Hall of Fame speech was as anticipated this year as Jim Cornette's, given his reputation for being one of the industry's best talkers, and considering how long he's been out of the WWE spotlight.
Cornette sure as Hell didn't disappoint, though, opening with "I'm Jim Cornette, this is a live mic, and the audio guy's on Xanax." His tenacious 15-minute introductory speech for The Rock 'n' Roll Express was nothing short of the hilarious, engrossing sermon fans both expected and wanted.
From talking about the tag team's sexual proclivities to expressing his almost unrivaled enthusiasm for the wrestling business and these two men in particular, even those who've never seen a Rock 'n' Roll Express match or seen Cornette before were likely entranced by his glorious speech.
