WWE Has "Totally Dropped" Plans To Reunite Popular Faction
This extremely popular WWE stable won't be reuniting any time soon.
For those anticipating the reunion of the Hurt Business, any such plans to put the faction back together have now been totally dropped.
Speaking on today's Wrestling Observer Radio (as per WrestlingNews.co), Dave Meltzer noted how "they have started it and totally dropped" plans to reform the Hurt Business group that became hugely popular during the pandemic days of WWE.
Of course, the Hurt Business consisted of MVP, Bobby Lashley, Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin, and three of those four won WWE gold during their time together. That time saw the group officially form in the summer of 2020, and the faction would remain together until shortly before WrestleMania 37, though there would be a mini reunion towards the end of 2021.
While MVP nowadays serves as the manager of Omos, the former United States Champion likewise began to briefly manage Alexander and Benjamin earlier this year, in addition to attempting to once more work alongside the All Mighty. There were even rumblings that Carmelo Hayes - as well as Omos - was being discussed to be a part of this reunited Hurt Business.
Instead, it now looks like MVP will remain with Omos, Bobby Lashley will continue as a singles act, and Alexander and Benjamin will remain fixtures of WWE Main Event. As for Carmelo Hayes, Melo is fresh off winning the NXT Championship from Bron Breakker at Stand & Deliver at the turn of the month.
