The Hurt Business are no more.

Again.

Last night's episode of WWE Raw saw the stable go their separate ways for the second time in a year, with Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin approaching Bobby Lashley and MVP backstage. When Alexander said he was fired up for Lashley's upcoming WWE Title match, the big man said that he only works alone, splitting up The Hurt Business.

Benjamin and Alexander were back on television a few minutes later, attacking Lashley following his in-ring segment with Brock Lesnar. This went predictably poorly for the duo, who were beaten up by Bobby, effectively ending their evenings.

The Hurt Business originally broke up in April 2021. Lashley, who was WWE Champion at the time, had previously berated Benjamin and Alexander for losing the Raw Tag Team Championships. The browbeaten duo then drifted into obscurity, struggling to make television most weeks, while Bobby soared at the top of the card.

Though the group came back together in September, they were rarely featured on Raw together as the comeback fell completely flat. Now, it seems, they have gone their separate ways again.
