Bret Hart is "the greatest wrestler of all time".

Those are Kurt Angle's words. The legend revealed on his new 'Kurt Angle Show' podcast that he'd put Bret ahead of other world class workers like Shawn Michaels and Ric Flair in a heartbeat; Angle also said he'd maybe put himself in the conversation, but that he couldn't compete with the 'Hitman' overall.

Chris Benoit was named as another alternate who'd "come close", but (again) Hart took the top spot.

Kurt noted how Bret "was just the best overall technician I’ve ever seen in my life". That's high praise indeed - Angle has never been quiet about the fact that he would've loved to wrestle the Canadian in his prime. Sadly, their paths never crossed, but it's not hard to envision them putting together classics.

The Olympian put over Flair's psychology as excellent, and said he was arguably more entertaining than Bret. However, he doesn't think the 'Nature Boy' was quite as dynamic as Hart. That's sure to put a smile on Bret's face!

Do you agree with Angle here? Or, do you think someone else deserves to be called "the greatest wrestler of all time"?
