6. The Intercontinental Title Picture Sucks Without Daniel Bryan
An overwhelming negative on the Money In The Bank card was the unsatisfying Intercontinental Title match between the defending Ryback and the challenging Big Show. It's pretty evident just by watching fans around ringside that this was one of the least gripping attractions on the show, and that was even long before the screwy finish that did nothing to establish Ryback as a fitting choice to supplant the injured Daniel Bryan. Who knows what might have been had Bryan been able to stay healthy and continue on as champion, it seems implausible that he would have sucked as Intercontinental Champion. Upon winning the belt, it seemed that longtime fans finally had a titleholder that the beloved strap has long deserved, but it was not to be. It's yet another false dawn for the poor Intercontinental Title, and adding The Miz into the title mix - attacking both Show and Ryback, thus ending the match prematurely by disqualification - won't really change that. Nobody should be saying that these guys aren't fitting of what the belt has represented over recent years, but after Daniel Bryan's performances, the whole angle feels like a let down.
