Interjecting himself into the Money In The Bank ladder match, Bray Wyatt took Roman Reigns out of the picture, clearing the way for others to grab the briefcase and leave with a WWE Title opportunity. Fans had been wondering whom the sadistic Wyatt character would be booked against next, and now people have their answer. As announced on the Pay-Per-View, Wyatt and Reigns will go head-to-head at the upcoming Battleground show, which has a longer build than the past several supershows. Depending on how their bout at that show goes, there may be scope for another at Summerslam, but it's hard to know whether this represents a step down for Reigns or a step up for Wyatt. Admittedly, Reigns doesn't really fit in the WWE World Heavyweight Title scene right now, and there's always going to be time for more matches against the likes of Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins for him to look forward to down the road. As for Bray Wyatt, he's arguably not quite there yet in regards to challenging for titles anyway. Besides, there's a case to be made that he doesn't need a strap to be a crucial part of the roster.
