2. WWE Universal Title: Roman Reigns (c) Vs. Edge

Result: Roman puts Edge away with a Spear to retain the title (33:10).

Rating: This was a wildly overbooked main event in the most ludicrously entertaining way possible.

It's incredible that Edge can put on a match this gruelling and exciting at this stage in his career, and as much as the crowd was behind him, the Roman win absolutely made sense story-wise.

It mostly earned its epic length with its intense physicality throughout, and really made fans believe Edge could take it all home.

Even the distraction ending made sense and fit the storytelling, and above all else, it set up two potentially killer matches for SummerSlam with that surprise Cena appearance.

If the pacing had been tightened up a little and the ref bump spot were a little less drawn-out this would've been a truly excellent main event. Instead it'll have to settle for being great instead. 8/10
