14. The "Edge Cashes In Post-Match" Chamber (New Year's Revolution '06)
This was not your traditional, loaded with star power version of the gimmick, either. WWE Champion John Cena was the obvious winner. However, the match itself maintained a level of unpredictability through the first twenty minutes by ousting the remainder of the established stars involved in favor of two young, hungry upstarts looking to make a big impression in their first main-event stints. Going into the match, Kane, Kurt Angle, and Shawn Michaels seemed predictable locks to join Cena in the latter stages of the climax. To everyone's surprise, Carlito and Chris Masters formed a tag team that nearly overcame Super Cena and eventually challenged for the Tag Championships at WrestleMania. They developed a trend of mid-carders playing integral roles and taking advantage of their opportunities to shine in a bright Chamber spotlight. Cena overcoming the odds was not what made this memorable, though. Rather, it was the post-match Money in the Bank cash-in by Edge the very first of its kind that put the historical stamp on the proceedings. That was one of the greatest moments of Edge's career and arguably one of the most significant happenings of the last decade.
