Following this week's program, we now have only three RAWs left until The GrandDaddy Of Them All. Let's take a look at 5 things we learned this week from the WWE RAW program as we are inching ever closer to Wrestlemania 29 on April 7th.
5. CM Punk Furthers His Chess Match
In another fantastic display of a heel performance, CM Punk interrupts the Undertaker as he is paying tribute to the recently passed Paul Bearer as we open the show. This deviation officially gets the ball rolling on their program which will culminate at Wrestlemania in 4 weeks time. Some of you may think this opening segment crossed the line, but rest assured Bearer's family cleared it prior to going on-air. Punk continues to be the best heel in the world today, and where they go from here should be spectacular. It's nice to see Punk continue to mesmerize even without a championship.
4. Brock Lesnar Decides To Play The Game
And so this week Lesnar returns, laying waste to the New Age Outlaws (why did they have an ADVERTISED televised match this week?) and thus teasing The Game by hitting him where it hurts most: family. While Triple H was not on screen this week to retort, the fact that Paul Heyman is the best mouthpiece in the biz and also working for Lesnar continues to work wonders as nothing was lost by The Game not facing off and answering the challenge. And so the build begins to see how hunter will reply, and what stipulation their match at Wrestlemania will eventually hold.
