WWE Raw Ratings Up For Roman Reigns & The Bloodline's Special Appearance
Roman Reigns, The Usos, Bobby Lashley, Big E and more help Raw to a notable ratings increase.
This week's episode of WWE Raw posted healthy ratings despite competition from Monday Night Football, with viewership up overall and in the key 18-49 demographic.
Viewers aged between 18 and 49 increased from 556,000 for the 13 September show to 642,000 this week. This was enough for a 0.49 rating, up from the previous week's 0.43.
These numbers were enough for Raw's first hour to finish sixth on cable for the night, its second to finish seventh, and its third ninth, outdone only by NFL coverage.
As far as overall viewership goes, Raw improved from 1.670 million to 1.793 million. A total of 19.334 million cable viewers watched Monday Night Football across multiple networks at 8 PM ET.
The competition means these numbers must be deemed a success following last week's declines, when the show slumped despite Big E confirming he was cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase.
Roman Reigns' special appearance would be the most obvious factor to point towards here. A pre-advertised trios match saw Reigns and The Usos face The New Day in the opener, transitioning to a Triple Threat between Reigns, E, and Bobby Lashley in the main event, which may have helped ease the third-hour decline.
